dj neerav / anton a.’s summer tour sampling:

summer news: my latest comp for interchill “gathering the tribe” debuts june 12. featuring tracks by live bands as well as interchill artists, it’s a cd created for roadtrips to summer festivals, as well as for playing out at those festivals. it features kaya project, adham shaik, gus till, shakatura and sasha butterfly, plus hamsa lila, tina malia, and neil perch of zion train. it’s a joyfull journey featuring world / festival music, as played by real bands, and reinterpreted by interchill artists. two years of love went into the project, and my hope is that the music puts people in touch with gaia / earth energy.

my anton a. side project continues to take off, and i recently had the honour to be invited to play alongside misstress barbara (one of the top techno / electro dj’s in the world). it will be as part of her ‘iturnem’ label feature for montreal’s favorite sunday outdoor electronic happening in the park: ‘piknic electronik’ (i’ll have to miss burning man because of this, but next year!). i also have the honour to play one of the headlining slots at this years ‘earthdance’ hub event in california (as dj neerav). this is one of my favorite parties in the world, and really not to be missed if you love live music! as well, i’m ecstatic to be invited back to ‘shambhala’ in b.c., as it is such a great place to reconnect with interchill family. i will be warming up da portal for luminaries ott, simon posford, and adham shaikh. and after last year’s  ‘eclipse’ event here in montreal (just a perfect party), i know many of us are looking forward to the 2006 gathering in the open fields and by the beach.

just as a note, gigs as ‘neerav’ range from ambient to tribal and psy-ambient, and will be for promoting the release the “gathering the tribe” cd. My ‘anton a.’ sets feature cutting edge international dance-floor sounds.
